Why I became a naturopathic doctor:
- My personal struggle with Hashimoto's thyroiditis as a teenager led to me feeling confused and hopeless as I navigated conventional medical treatments without much improvement or feeling supported. I decided I wanted to become a doctor who combined medicine and nutrition; naturopathic medicine provides that perfect merger. I love that I have plenty of time to spend with my patients, and the opportunity to understand and validate how they are feeling. Naturopathic medicine is so rewarding for me because I get to work closely with people to help them achieve their goals and integrate effective progress into their lives.
What conditions I love to treat:
- PCOS, endometriosis, infertility, menopause, cervical dysplasia, and hormone imbalances
- Hashimoto's, hypo/hyperthyroidism, and subclinical thyroid conditions
